Not that it needs stating, but this is a demo. That said, I think that there are quite a few things that need looking at: 1) The fact that when you have an item in your hot bar that you need for a quest, can just be given to another character (before you've quite figured out who is who) is frustrating. Needing to give Lilly something but speaking to one of the others first takes that item and gifts it to the character. I would suggest having an option, like when you press spacebar for eating something. ...

time should probably be paused when you are looking at your inventory / status / etc

The quest tells me to deliver stuff to people (like moss and copper ore to Lily), but when i speak to them I can't hand over the collected items. Selling them doesn't seem to complete it either...
