I was expecting a clone of megaman battle network / slay the spire, but this game is even better than that.

This game is a celebration of past INTI games, videogames and otaku culture in general. I can't recommend enough this game, try the demo and check it out by yourself!

The boss of the second dungeon is a shy, nervous, 2 story tall schoolgirl mecha cheered on by her complete degenerate of a boyfriend who insists he will burn his love for giant women on you (Naturally if not for him you probably could have avoided a fight entirely). Once you beat these two weirdos down, the mecha girl gives her boyfriend a lap pillow to help him recover and your female companion goes "Hmm..." upon seeing this. Upon reaching the main menu, you unlock a dedicated "Lap Pillow" button to receive a lap pillow from your companion at any time.

As you can see, this is one of the last truly innovative games of the modern era.

Please be aware this is NOT megaman battle network, but more close to slay the spire roguelike card builder. But what makes this game stand out (other than the crazy anime aesthetic and "unhinged imaginary games") is that most of the cards are extremely busted and you ramp up the card counts quickly for each battle encounter, but the card's effect often conflict each other and the options to clean up your deck is very limited, so the more battle you have encountered, the weaker (and definitely exponentially chaotic) your deck would eventually become. As a matter of fact, the scoring system actively discouraging you to go for enemy encounters.

Therefore, the most challenging and fun part of the game is how to choose your battle wisely (you can easily go straight to the boss if you want), and think how to play your cards right when you hands are completely full with extremely strong cards but are anti-synergistic with each other.
