is this on unreal engine?
would be awesome because then i would use the UEVR program to play it in vr.

Its not. Its made in Falcom's inhouse engine that is also used for Trails through daybreak

I'm surprised that they won't use UE but in the same way I dislike how almost every UE games are samey with the same effect...

Not use unreal engine,they use a modify version of source engine same as trails through daybreak

This is false, Falcom's new engine that they started using with Trails through Daybreak was built from the ground up and has nothing to do with the Source engine.
