Item shop
Does the full game has an item shop? In this trial we only get items "randomly" from battles and can only spend gold to boost our army. I'd like to use the gold to buy better items instead.

Also why am I getting mostly helmets and shields? I completed the trial and only got like 3 speers (main weapons). This wasnt really satifsfying.

Right now, there are no plans whatsoever to have an item shop. You can sell items that you get, but you can't buy any. So the only way to get them is by having them drop (randomly) from the various levels.

Yeah thats kinda annoying. I was looking for a better weapon and never got one during the whole demo. Instead I got a massive amount of helmets and shields I dont care about.

Honestly, I'll forward this to the team. We are aware that we need to improve the item situation (at least a bit) so this could be a solution, no promises though, but defo will look into it.
