No Man's Sky

cant start game {FIXED}
game crashes on launch. Have played 85hrs before this bs started happening. Please Fix

Try resetting graphics to default in the Options Menu. That should get you started again.

delete your TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML
That file is in \steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\Settings

I did that. It would then give me a white screen before crashing. It also recreates the folder

Could you post the content of your TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML (just open it with notepad and copy&paste it)

Do you have Frame generation on? Scratched my head for a hour before i tried to turn off Frame gen and it started all fine

Go into the game files and rename sl.pcl.dll to sl.pcl.dll_backup

then go in game and disable DLSS or else game will crash

I just bought the game (no current save file) and had the same issue. This also resolved the problem, thank you!

I also crash on startup I have no idea whats causing it either I tried the fix but it didn't work

For any reason its not detecting your CPU

The fix? Was 3 fixes mentioned. Can also try restoring gpu driver settings to default as a 4th option. For nvidia open the app or control panel. Select Global settings, then Restore. App should to it immediately but control panel you need to hit Apply.
