Hi! first of all thanks for sticking around, and glad to hear you're happy with the demo! Yes, the demo economy got a bit nerfed due to a lot of reports of people getting softlocked by the tutorial (most bought a ton of decorations right away and had no more money to get the economy going). For the full game we are trying to do a longer term and bigger picture balancing, it's quite a lot of work, but it's vital for such a game. Pleasantly relaxing, but still a little bit challenging is the overall idea we aim for.
Game over conditions will be difficult to hit (for example running out of money while a loan is active, or let a loan expire without being able to repay it), but they shall nevertheless exist.
There's a lot to do, but we're set to do it, and the feedback we collected in these crazy weeks (more than 30k players for the demo, and lots of you guys send over feedback in the forum or with the in-game tools) is gonna help us a lot in finding the way.
I look forward to show some new updates soon!
Cheers,
Dr.H
Very happy to hear that! Oh there will be a lot of "background"additional things, both in the monastery and in the external (historical/economical) world of the game coming soon! ;)
