Hi Mari! First of all thanks for the amazing feedback, such words have the amazing power of motivating the team even more! (Btw, today we are doing a QA at 17 in our discord channel in which we will probably announce the next steps, release, etc - https://discord.gg/MQhUz8Ye?event=1308453690230968341)
I am super super happy that you guys had such a nice time with the demo, the feedback is being amazing and we couldn't be any happier about it!
Regarding the coop/multiplayer, we had thought of that a long time ago, but we came to the conclusion that it was far too much work, and very complex to integrate in a tycoon such as Ale Abbey. Our motto is never say never, but i think if something like that would ever come it'd be a lot down the line (we have so many ideas already to make the game shine :D )
I think the cook/cauldron bug has been already fixed in the full game (right now we can't update the demo often as we're focusing first on the full build for the release), but I am gonna check with the programmer just to make sure!
As for the Happiness level (and a couple of other areas of the game that a lot of people found confusing and with not enough information) I 100% agree. I got started less than 3 hours ago working on the design for the info system for Fermentines' satisfaction, on the thought bubbles to show above their heads, and maybe even on a complaints box (that might come later))
We're making sure that the mechanics of the demo are preserved and carried over to the full game, but adding also enough to make a much longer run interesting (unlocking styles, unlocking markets, etc)! PS a small trick to play the demo longer in case is not to deliver the unlock order to the Local Lord, that's the end trigger of the demo ;)
Cheers and thanks again!
Dr.H
