Really happy to hear so! We are spendng a lot of energyand time on UX since the demo release! And really happy that the thing you felt missing is the one we are dedicating the most time to ;)
We are changing the markets progression a bit, and the style unlocks too. Whenever you reach enough reputation to unlock a new style now, you'll be given a task (e.g. brew an ale with flavor in the green range, all the other virtues in the red and qualit 35+). Once the task is accomplished, you will unlock the new style (with quite a bit more fanfares than before), get it introduced with a Panel, get a permanent reward, and you can start earning reputation again.
We are still working on the balance and variety of tasks (a different one per each style), bt it seems to definitely give a much better highlighting to the whole styles system (and now styles also have special characteristics that really impact the gameplay a lot!)
We will present all this soon!
Cheers
Dr.H
