If you play poe or diablo and roguelikes you should try this game. 2D arpg side scroller, set to hardcore but you get to keep your gear as the meta progression.

Only real complaint I have is the inability to use skills in the air and some other bits about combat and movement.

Otherwise, combat is fun, some really cool legendary/unqiue items that really juice up your skills and some respectable boss fights coupled with interesting build choices keeps the dopamine flowing. Took me about 4 hours to clear the first run of what is available in early access but that unlocked new difficulties and class so plenty more to play, especially if you want to chase loot,

If you like ARPG loot/build progression and Rogue Legacy/Dead Cells gameplay, this feels like a can't miss even in early access.
