Today, we'd like to share our revised milestones for the remaining period of 2024.

The Town Structures spec, which was scheduled for Q3, has been pushed back to next year as it requires more development time.

Throughout September, we'll update as much Legendary gear as possible, fix bugs, and add the final chapter and the last boss this year before the full release. However, the final phase and ending of the last boss will be added at launch.

We've posted a major update to version 0.7101, it adds additional legendary items and artifacts, in addition to some balancing and bug fixes. Please see the details below:

Molten Hydra Armor

• Hitting an enemy with a Basic or Mastery skill has a 7% chance to summon a Molten Hydra for 7 seconds.
  
• The Hydra fires a fireball at nearby enemies for 150-800% Attack Damage (max 5).

Ring of Red Spirit

• Hitting an enemy with basic skill increases critical damage of core skill by 10% for 5 sec (Stacks up to 5-10)

Ruthless Cycling

• Hitting a skill has a 10-20% chance to reduce all skill cooldowns by 1 second.

Volcanic Sword (SpellBlade only)

• A ball of flame bounces up to 1-3 times, dealing 50% less damage per bounce. An explosion occurs if no enemies are nearby based on the number of bounces remaining.

Swift Slaughterer (Berserker only)

• Changes Frenzy Strike to a continuous attack with no delay and no longer charges madness on hit. Increases basic skill damage by 100-150%, and the Frenzy Strike buff has a maximum stack of 9.

Contractor's Hourglass (Magic)

• Increases damage dealt to enemies by 50%.
  
• Increases maximum health by 50%.
  
• You will be granted 120 sec to defeat the boss, or die

In this update, we've added several new sources of Legendary Gear, including NPC Bertio, Ruby Chests found in-game, and Reward Orbs dropped by bosses.
Once acquired, Legendary Gear can be disassembled in Cliffshire to yield a new commodity, Soul Shards. To craft Legendary Gear, players need Blueprints and Soul Shards. Blueprints are unlocked automatically when a player acquires the corresponding Legendary Gear at least once in-game. Any Legendary Gear you already own from an existing save file will also have the Blueprints automatically unlocked.

• Reduce the price of items sold by Grandus.
  
  • (100 + per level 20) → (100 + per level 10)

• Added a new commodity Soul Shard
  
• The new commodity (Soul Shard) can be obtained by defeating bosses.
  
• The higher the game difficulties and the later stage bosses, the more Soul Shards will drop.

• To craft Legendary Gear, you must obtain it at least once to unlock the blueprint.
  
• All blueprints for Legendary gear you already own will remain unlocked.

Added a new Legendary weapon for Spell Blade: Thunderbolt Throwing Hammer.

• Changes the Sword of Lightning skill to the Throwing Hammer ranged skill. The hammer bounces off the first enemy it hits up to 5 times for 35-50% magic attack damage.
  
• Damage is reduced by 10% per bounce.
  

Added Spell Blade exclusive Legendary Talisman [Warden of Electrocution[/b]

• Whenever an enemy is Jolted, there is a 30% chance to chain lightning to 5 nearby enemies for 100-150% magic damage.
  

Added all classes Legendary Glove [Hands of Blinding Speed]

• Hitting an enemy with Basic Skills increases your attack speed by 10% for 1-3 seconds, up to 40%.

Added all classes Legendary Ring [Convergence Band]

• Increases Synergy by 1 point for every 2 points you have.

New Artifact

Chaos Orb (Rare)

• Every first hit on an enemy reduces their health by 25% (except bosses)
  
• All enemies are summoned as 2 when summoned. (except bosses)
  

Dragon's Coin (Magic)

• Increases gold drop by 300%.
  
• Spawns an additional 1 when Elite enemies spawn.
  

Anguish (Common)

• Gold earned during the game is reduced by 90%.
  
• Increases experience gained from enemies by 1000%.
  

Bell of Silence (Legendary)

• Increases damage dealt to enemies and maximum health by 100%.
  
• Enemies deal 25% increased damage each time your character is hit. (Resets after each stage clear)
  

Bug fix

• Fixed a bug where Sealed Devil's Chest's effect would trigger when dealing damage from artifact effects.
  
• Core, Mastery, and Ultimate skills have a 30% chance to summon a sphere of magic that flies out and explodes on hit for 300% magic damage. (Cooldown: 1 second)
  
• Fixed a bug where the 7-set effect of the Artifact Synergy Merchant would not renew after being applied on a drop.

In Dragon is Dead, the DEV team wants our players to be able to freely mix and match their progression and experiment with it.
We felt that the current two separate ways of applying damage conflicted with this direction.
So, we're unifying physical and magical damage into damage, which will require us to re-plan and revise all of the components involved.

Some of the most negative feedback is that flying monsters are difficult to kill without using skills in the air. To address this, we are working on several legendary pieces of equipment and artifacts that can be used to deal efficiently with aerial monsters.
For example, legendary equipment that generates guided projectiles and converts core skills into aerial skills, etc.

We recognize the issue of specific skills being overpowered by legendary gear. However, we do not believe that simple numerical balancing alone will solve this issue. We're addressing this by adding fun new Legendary gear that increases the power of skills that are currently underpowered or don't have Legendary gear, in addition to numerical balancing. We'll continue to add fun new Legendary gear on a weekly basis as we get major bugs and system cleanup underway.

• We're adding more ways to drop Legendary gear.
  
• Bosses will have a chance to drop an additional Legendary Gear from the Red Orb they drop.
  
• Bertio has a chance to drop Legendary gear when you gamble.
  
• Ruby Chests have a chance to drop Legendary gear.

We will be making it possible to expand the Warehouse using Magic Stones

• We'll add a new currency called Soul Shard.
  
• The new currency (Soul Shard) can be obtained by defeating bosses.
