This gets a negative for one and only one reason.

They removed connectability from the game when they shut the servers down. You now have to locally host a server, port forward, etc. just to play multiplayer. It would be a bit of work, but they could add Steam's Networking API to allow for peer-to-peer multiplayer, however they don't want to put any more work into the game.

The game is not bad. It's a Minecraft formula, and that instantly means that it's just boring to be in a vast open world by yourself.
