I often experience huge losses of framerate in game, usually dropping from 60FPS to 20-30FPS. Thus it become quite unplayable (and frustrating, by the way).
It's unfortunate, I've finished the game once on Wii, enjoyed it a lot and I was really happy to play it again on PC.
I play in fullscreen mode and it's slightly better in windowed mode, but still.
System and software are all up to date.
Windows version: Windows 7 (64 bit)
CPU type: Intel Core i7-4800MQ CPU@ 2.70GHz
System memory: 8GB
Graphic card: AMD Radeon HD 8790M
Thank you for your work and support.
Sonatine,
Thank you for contacting us with this issue. If you can, can you describe when and where you're getting these large frame rate drops?
EDIT: After getting all the treasure chests in Stages 6 and 7, I am now able to access the Stage 2 bonus. Leaving this here just in case this original problem was a bug.
It mostly occurs during the bonus levels -- I've just ended the Forest ones.
It happened in every single one of them.
Regarding the classic levels, the frame rate drops happened during the first levels where the Boy uses his Blob as a trampoline.
Thank you for your answer (and thanks to the team).
NB: I've experienced large frame rate drops again in the fourth level of the second world when the Boy is in the bubble created by his Blob.
Thanks for the update, I've asked the PC team to look into this issue and hopefully come up with a fix.
when playing the game there is some extreme horizontal tearing going on everywhere in the game. This even happens during the intro video and the WayForward logo and everything. I tried running this game in windowed mode and in borderless windowed mode but to no avail.
There are also some flickering graphics (the firefly-like green glowing dots in the forest, for example).
These are my specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Quad Core (~3.4 GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 260 X (2 GB) – latest drivers installed
System memory: 8 GB
Operating system: Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
DirectX version: DirectX 11
Thank you in advance for any help!
