It's been over a week since Early Access started.
Did you notice that we hid a wallpaper bonus for Early Access players in the game files?

You can find it in the following location in the game files:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ark of Charon\EarlyAccessWallpaper
Alternatively, you can easily open the local files by right-clicking on the game in the Steam app and navigating through the menu.

We are very happy to have you all playing our game, and sharing your thoughts with us.
We are continuing to work hard on the game!

Hot fix for the following (changes that are from player feedback will have a 📫 mailbox mark - thank you!):

• Fixed graphic bug where part of the background sometimes disappears
  
• 📫Fixed the icon for the Large Shield Generator (was previously a lamp icon)
  
• 📫Added unit to Growth Time for crops, and changed the unit to in-game days from the previous realtime seconds

Hot fix for the following bugs:

• Game freeze bug when immediately pressing ESC after opening a tutorial.
  
• Warning message that displays when trying to create a Golem without choosing any souls only displaying in Japanese

Ark of Charon has released into Early Access!
We've also made an updated trailer to celebrate.

Here's the highlights of what you get from the Early Access version from day 1:

• Full length voyage
  
• Big formidable boss fights
  
• New mode: Idyllic Journey
  
• All of what's shown in the Technology Tree is now available
  
• Bug fixes, game balance adjustments, and QoL adjustments from demo feedback

And here are some things you can expect to be added during Early Access (more details to come!):

• 2 more game modes
  
• New facilities
  
• Feedback implementation such as QoL updates and balance adjustments, features, and possibly content

And for transparency, here are some things we are planning to implement close to or in official launch:

• An ending to the journey...

• New enemies
  
• New facilities

As you know, Ark of Charon has just begun Early Access, and there are still a lot of work to do, a lot of problems to solve, a lot of things to balance. We promise we will do our best to improve and upgrade the game.

We're so excited to say that we are releasing into Early Access next week at:

We're growing out our branches...

Here are some of the less fancy facts about the Early Access launch version as compared to the demo:

• More gradual difficulty pacing
  
• Improved Golem AI
  
• Bug fixes (some of them Golem AI bug fixes)
  
• Adjustments to building weight and strength (should have more freedom in your building)

Reminder that the demo will become unavailable with the start of Early Access.
We'll be posting about the more fancy updates the day of release!
