True full screen?
I can go "full screen" but all that does is put black borders around a 640x480 frame. It's small, even on my 27" screen. Is there a hack around this? Maybe it was possible to go full screen a few years ago but as of 2022, I can't find a way on Windows 10.

It does fullscreen the way fullscreen was done in the old days. It sets your monitor to the resolution the game desires(it should actually be 800x600), with all the problems that causes(all your windows will be tiny and in the top-left corner of the screen when you leave the game).

Check your monitor's scaling settings. Or turn on GPU scaling in your graphics card control panel.

As for the blank space at the top and bottom, this can be resolved by setting Zoom to 128% in the Startup Menu.

When are you all gonna update this to support modern resolutions?

Go to the settings file Kamui.exe when launching the game and click the option start in 640x480 in the Compatibility tab.

If this game can be in a window, use Lossless scaling to scale up the window ;)
