Unfortunately on my PC with an RX 6600 XT with latest Adrenalin drivers (24.3.1), I get Z ordering issues, most walls are transparent. This is the first time I am getting this issue in any game.
I like the game very much though since it tickles that old school system shock itch and I would be glad to help you debug the issue.
As you can see from the video https://we.tl/t-EUOfsF4nDd, the problem makes the game unplayable.
Also any future thoughts about supporting Ultrawide monitors? Are you using a custom engine?
Thanks for the video and the feedback. The issues are observed on AMD RX and I'm trying to solve it!
I use the Construct 3 engine, which is not very good for creating 3D games :)
On the other hand on my other PC which has a Ryzen 5 5600G with onboard Vega graphics and latest Adrenalin drivers, everything works as expected. So this is a problem with 6XXX and 7XXX series cards as per the above post.
I just tried injecting DXVK and the game crashes and refuses to even start. There is something wrong with the fog, since all the parts that have fog in the beginning of the game, are transparent and overlap on other geometry.
Now you can turn the fog effect on or off by pressing the "Num -" (subtract) key.
I doubt this will solve the problem, but it's worth a try. If the problem is only in the fog, I will add an option to disable it.
It looks like I'm going to have to buy an RX 6600 to comfortably work on fixing this problem. )

The test scene is as simple as possible, and if the same problems are observed with it, I probably won't be able to fix it myself, I'll have to contact AMD as well as the author of the engine.

AMD Radeon 7900 XTX
Its strange you can see anything with lights through the walls and those dont have issues loading, its only the flat wall textures
Can you check to see if you see the same issues there?
While the 8 direction scene still has the same Z ordering issues on the lower third of it, as can be seen on the video [we.tl], the latest version of the game works as intended as can be seen here [we.tl]!
Great work I think you nailed the rendering bug on the head!
