How to remove the movement limits of the camera- Huge Improvement!
Tired of feeling like you can't pan the camera up or down as much as you would like?

All you need to do is browse to your steamapps/common/man of prey folder and open the "Autoexec" file in notepad. Add "Cam_UseAngles false" to the "Autoexec" file in the game's folder to remove all of the movement limits of the camera. (As always, enter the command without the quotes!)

This makes the camera behave like 7.62- holding right click to rotate is much smoother, and you can now pivot the camera at any angle.

Wow that works great, thanks. Not being able to zoom further was a pain.

Thanks a bunch man!

Also you can add "FreeCamera True" to the Autoexec file to allow yourself a free floating camera, ie, noclip mode. Great for screenshots, although it does show up some missing walls/textures you were never meant to see in normal mode.

seems i also had to go into the setting and up the camera speed and mouse speed or i could not rotate at all with or with out this not sure if its the game + Razer Ouroboros together or this is just normal

//edit sometimes it still goes stuck in the middle of movement and is not smooth at all not to mention it forces me to hold down shift to move the camera i thought that was for moving it faster

How "high" can the camera go before & after this?
I am not seeing any difference so I am probably doing something wrong....

I can now pivot the camera any direction however I can't seem to raise the camera above building ceiling/roof level. (Not moved on beyond 1st area). Is that the max or not?..Does it depend on the height of the building you are in/near?

Thanks for the tip by the way, much nicer being able to get to ground level and still look up!

I honestly am not sure, but I think it does depend on the amount of "levels" of each map as for how high you can move the camera. For me it is a complete change from the default settings, however. I have my camera sensitivity set to 21 and camera speed set to 10 and I have no complaints about how the camera operates. As for how "high" the camera can go, I have managed to take some pretty good screenshots thanks to the change.

This shot was taken in a 2 story building a few missions in.

The first area is pretty claustrophobic despite the camera settings; It really starts to shine once you get outside or into larger buildings.

Okay cheers mate, yeah it seems I am already at the max height so all is well. I don't believe there was a change (on the first area anyway) but being now able to see at all angles is definitely an improvement and I wonder why they didn't allow this to begin with...

Now to actually get stuck in to the game!
