Update v11.1 (October 21)

Since the last few updates were geared more towards extending the late-game content, this one was more focused on improving the early game for new players.

New Content:

New and improved tutorial that guides new players through changing combat styles and activating their first synergy.

Changes:

Synergies now require ALL heroes, including the selected hero, to have the required rank to satisfy the synergy. Previously, the selected hero ignored all rank requirements, and only the other heroes in the synergy had to meet the rank requirements. That is no longer the case.
The synergy menu UI changed slightly to reflect the above changes. You will now see the selected hero included in the synergy formula, including his rank and if he meets the requirements or not.
Changed some of the Tier 1 synergies on a few of the common and uncommon heroes.

QoL Improvements:

New Synergy explanation guide.
More notification icons to guide new players in various menus throughout the game.
Option to hide the Ultimus Token gem packs.
Increased the FPS for Steam players on the low quality setting.
Performance improvements.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed a rare bug related to enemy targeting.
Various minor bug and UI fixes.

I just want to know if it is intended that energy gained from power plant is not getting Multiplicated by the energy active play bonus , unlike power mages.

more cooperation with other people? idea for the game

I like the game but I think there can only be more to it maybe guild? where you can join a guild and set up a def together with other players from the guild or maybe you have to work together to beat a boss just something

+Runes +Scrolls Upgrades retroactive?

E.g. gem upgrades for +1 rune from the ancient shadow. Or am i advised to let the two bosses completely out until I buy some upgrades to not waste runes and scrolls, because those from the bosses are finite?

Update v11.0 (October 14)

New Content:

New upgrades in the Prestige menu unlocked at wave 10k.
New upgrades in the Ultimus menu unlocked at wave 10k and 15k.
New purchasable Ultimus token packs.

Changes:

Buffed the Land Mines spell to account for each hero's crit chance/damage, significantly increasing this spell's damage output.
The 'Gem Bonus' event (+50% gems in the store and +50% gems from daily tasks) now automatically occurs every other weekend, rather than being part of the normal event rotation.
Increased rank exp required to level up after rank 1000.

QoL Improvements:

Advanced setting to pin the 'level all' button to only use max milestone.
The Prestige button displays the next map selected to remind you of what map you're prestiging to next.

Bug Fixes:

Various minor bug and UI fixes.

max game speed (and other upgrades)

what exactly is the max game speed you can have? also, which upgrades have a limit (for example, max game speed with prestige has a limit of one, but damage 1, rank xp, and kill gold 1 with energy dont have a max(or have a max more than 1000))

Full screen or Borderless Windowed Mode???

Game starts with Windowed Mode and pressing esc does not bring up any options. The screen is cut off along bottom by taskbar. Can I change mode because what works with my few hundred other games does not work with this game...........

Update v10.9 (October 1)

Changes:

The "Instant Skill Cooldown Chance" is now rolled independently for each hero on the field. Previously, only one hero could receive an instant skill cooldown after passing a wave. But now, multiple heroes (potentially all 10 if you're lucky!) can have their skills instantly cooled down at the end of a wave.

QoL Improvements:

Significant performance improvements were made across all aspects of the game. I hope everyone's PC fans and mobile devices enjoy the reduced workload!
Added x100 and "spend 50% gold" level mult options for upgrading heroes.
Added a toggle for the "Instant Spell Cooldown Chance" effect in the settings menu.
Added the game's current version number to the bottom of the settings menu.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed bug where reaching your highest tournament wave while playing offline would prevent you from being able to claim the rewards at the end of the week.
Various minor UI fixes.

Early Access Review

Endless grind with next to no reward. The P2W extras are stupidly expensive. It's just a cash grab. The game itself is actually pretty good, though limited and very repetitive, graphics and auto cast etc are great. I like the game, but there really is no point in playing it. I've given it a good go. but don't think i'm going to continue.

so far not bad
you can easily ignore the "special" offers that that offers the next rarity of heroes
other purchases that are permanent are nicer as it persists through the runs
you can easily play this F2P you just have to be aware to be patient and that it will take time
standard design with not bad colors
more story and a bit more hero background would be nice
overall a solid TDG 7/10
