You should always assume that it is the end for the game. It has been unsupported for years, which is normal. Devs move on, players move on. Such is life.

Well, what about Armello 2? I think the first one was announced to have ended development.

in the beginning this was supposed to be a way to source a real board game... that seemed to have fallen through and it does seem to be fully abandonded.

I would love to see the devs put the game on super sale and lower the requirements to unlock some of the new rings and amulets and just give it to the players to run.

I'm sorry to say that support for Armello has been done for a very long time now. There will be no more content updates.

Sadly, we need to also be realistic... they very clearly say that they're "not sure when (or if)" they'll be coming back. No sequel was ever announced, so likelihood of there being one in the future is very slim.

So if there was support still, what would the chances of a skunk hero being added be?

Hypothetically speaking, probably very low unless the team had plans to make a new clan, since they seemed to have a limit of 4 characters per clan. Outside of that, the only place a skunk hero would fit in with the lore we know is the Bandit clan.

Why only the Bandit clan? I thought they could fit into another clan other than the Bandits?

An Armello board game was fully funded on Kickstarter, and should be available eventually. It seemed mostly finished. I pledged to it.

A whole skunk clan?

If you want skunks, there is a Mountain Trickery card that features a skunk being tied and gagged to a post, presumably left to die there after being exiled.

I know about that card, but a playable skunk hero or two would suffice.
