I really wanted to enjoy the game but ultimately the combat system is just not good enough for me. The pausing to set up actions did not feel fun for me. I tried letting some characters run on auto / AI and I just could never tweak the AI settings to get them to behave how I wanted. The movement in combat also felt really janky, Often times I would tell a character to go to a spot and it would try some weird pathing or run to a completely different spot then I selected. It is a shame cause so many other aspects of the game seem really solid but when such a huge percentage of game time is spent in combat I couldn't bring myself to keep playing.

Great game. Good fun.

Guess Ill finish this game one day.
