I'm with u, dregs! Looking for Linux support! Which should be all the more 'in the bag' these days, with SteamDeck making that a no brainer. Fingers crossed they don't disappoint. ;)

I don't care if the game runs natively or through Proton, as long as it's running well with no issues. Honestly, there's no reason to care what version it is as long as it's running.

It would be really nice because right now, the game just throws a tantrum and refuses to launch under Proton.

EQU8 supported Linux prior to their acquisition, so they should reinstate that.

Please. 987 hours with Splitgate 1 on Linux. Was really excited when I got into the Alpha only for it not to work.
