No gold for contests?
I have noticed that when complete the competition events successfully I am not awarded the gold that it indicates. Is anyone else experiencing this? It seems like a bug to me. I worked hard to complete the 3rd leg, for example, expecting to get the 50 gold. But I was left broke because it didn't give me any gold for completing it.

Same. Though atm I'm not yet broke.

Yes, and I also had it with round 3. The next one with 100 gold I did get the reward, so I think the issue is only with round 3. If you play well, you can survive without the 50 gold, but I admit it's tough, especially on a first playthrough.

I have not received ANY gold for any competition. Got the 1st place Blue ribbon, but no gold. Just finished the National's and got the ribbon but NOT the gold ... nothing, nada,, zip. Am now going on to World's Fair ... its supposed to be 100 gold if won. I guess I'll see ... hmmm.

This issue is in our backlog. We are recently starting up another round of fixes for the game so I will make sure this bug is highly prioritized.

Thanks FilamentAbby for the reply concerning addressing this issue in the next round of fixes. I didn't get the gold for the first or second Blue Ribbon. Didn't attempt the third after that.

Love this game and look forward to the up & coming bug-squashers. :bbtcat:

I'm also peeved that ol' Master Pooting Pigeon keeps stiffing me after I spend half of my daily breeding power points creating the perfect plants to win his contests. Where's the love, sir?
