But of course knowledge of cars helps a lot. It's just the sort of game that has to give you a loooot of information and options and frankly I can't imagine how they could make it much more easy to learn without oversimplifying things. So I guess I would rate the noob friendliness at around 5 to 7
Time and patience are not a problem, i spend a lot of time playing Football Manager, which needs a tons of information, time and dedication.
I'm thinking i might just say F it and go for it, if it doesn't click with me i can always come back later on since it's still in development
One last thing, i was wondering if there's a way to edit the UI (font size to be more specific), i have really bad eyesight and games where you need to, sort of, read a lot get quite challenging. If there isn't, it doesn't take any points away, but if there is it adds a lot of value for me
PS: i'm loving you Fruinian Supercars LP, i'm only 7 episodes in but i's been enough to make me wanna try it for myself
Cheers!
The only thing i can remember not being really clear was the "k" and "m" after a number when in red, but that sounds more like a YT thing
It's decided, I'm in, tomorrow i'm gonna engineer the hell out of some cars for sure
Cheers my man, you're awesome
What i didnt know was how GPU intense this game was, even in the menu my R9 390 is at 100%. I thought it would be more of a CPU and SSD kinda game lol
I always thought it was because it was an old-ish piece of hardware and that a 5700XT was gonna fix my problems.
About the fps limit, i put a 144 limit (using a 144hz monitor) even though i barely get 60 fps in the menu, do you think that's doing more wrong than good?
Since there aren't really a lot of moving parts i guess i could always limit to 40 or 50 :-/
If you don't like running your GPU at or near 100%, do as I said above and limit your framerate to something that loads the card as much as you want. You can also lower the resolution scale and other effects to get more frames or less load if you framerate limit it.
The point is, the game is really fun, i'm a bit lost, but easy does it :)
