Mushroom is the bane of my existence.

I've been playing Crawl from time to time over the course of a few years (Mostly on console) and this is easily one of my favorite games to play with friends. It's a fairly simple game with fun mechanics, the monsters are all really original and I always have a blast being either a ghost or human.

The only downside is that there isn't really a solid way to play online. The "Play Together" feature steam has works, but it can be quite laggy from time to time (Usually when entering a new room or a cutscene). On a console like Playstation you can always use ShareScreen and then play together, unfortunately this only makes you able to play with two people.

The best way to play Crawl is by local multiplayer, and when you do, the game is awesome.
