PSA: Tornado softlocks with incorrect audio sample rate settings

I was getting softlocked at the tornado. After playing the flute, the action would never resolve. Turns out that the reason was that my audio sample rate was set above 192kHz. Setting it down to that level fixes everything.

ah thats why it locks up on steam deck. not sure how to fix that

Sometime ago, my steam deck updated and I lost my save. I was wondering if its safe to play it now with an updated version of proton. Proton DB says there are fixes, but they are old so who knows.

Is the game fixed for Steam Deck?
