I'm writing this review in hopes the series can improve.
The writing an dialogue are often times a little too goofy to effectively build atmosphere and suspense and what suspense the game does build, it squanders by pacing itself way to fast.
The only scares this game achieves are one or two jump scares whose novelty quickly wears off.
During the final act of the game, failure also results in a noise that is WAAAY to loud and WAY too long, it's not scary, just obnoxious, loud is okay, but make it short.

This game is a buggy mess and I can't progress out of the office area.

The first time, its possible it was my fault. The bag that I found in the elevator on 2nd playthrough of the game wasn't there the first time(or I possibly did not see it) So I couldn't continue playing and had to ALT+F4 to close the game(since it uses the ESCAPE key for an ingame function.

The 2nd time I launched the game, I found the bag, and then made it through all of the dialogue options in the car, then sat in the car for 10 minutes waiting for the next dialogue or popup, but nothing happened. So, I restarted the game a THIRD time.

The 3rd time, I went through all of the dialogue options in the car ride and sat there for almost 20 minutes. Not only did nothing new come up, the map started looping, and the car was missing the road - it would drive around through trees, posts, and on the left side of the road without continuing the game.

I can't seem to find any fixes, and it just seems like a waste of time to buy and play this game. I really liked the other ones and own all the other games in the series. I guess the budget for the last game must have been really low for it to not be playable.

This game was terrifying and easily the best one in the F2F series. The characters felt very real, I was on the edge of my seat nearly the whole time.

Also there is a cat. A+ for the cat. Thank you for providing that relief.
