Today, Paradise Island has been added, several updates have been made, and the Aurora feature has been introduced.

The desire for beach and sunshine was strong, and now you have the opportunity to settle on Paradise Island. It is possible that I will make some fine-tuning updates to this map, and perhaps you have some ideas for it as well.

On Paradise Island, the boats are equipped with cameras, allowing you to use these perspectives from the boat.

Another topic was the acquisition of achievements. Since these were usually only received after finishing the game, I have made changes in this regard. From now on, you will receive your achievement immediately after completing it.

The achievements have also received new textures, minor adjustments, and a new achievement has been added for Paradise Island.

I have added the Aurora feature for you, which can be found under the weather settings. These are Northern Lights, and you can activate them wherever you want.

Today, I have some great news for you and would like to update you on our upcoming plans.

Many of you have expressed a desire for beach and sunshine, and I'm excited to provide just that soon. I've prepared a few screenshots as a preview.

Once this map is completed, I'll also be working on a forest scene for long walks. Other ideas include locations like underwater worlds, caves, or even outer space.

I'm also considering special places that create a sad but calming atmosphere what I call "special locations." The exact look of these places is still being planned.

Time-based achievements have been revised. They are now displayed in days and hours, and the total hours have been reduced.

To ensure that these features work smoothly, it is important to reset your graphics settings once. Any changes to the graphics settings should be followed by a restart to ensure that the settings are applied correctly.

Thanks to AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, performance improvements can now be achieved. This feature optimizes performance and is available for both AMD and Nvidia graphics card users.

Enable FSR and select your quality level, ranging from Native AA to Ultra Performance.

FSR allows older PCs to achieve enhanced image clarity and performance even with lower graphics settings.

I want to give you a little insight into what I am currently working on. As with my other games, I also want to add the FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 feature to this game.

In an upcoming update, you will have the opportunity to improve the game's performance, both graphically and in terms of overall performance. This will be made possible by a new feature from AMD called FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3), which provides a performance boost for both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards.

Thanks to FSR 3, even older computers will be able to double the game's performance. It will also be possible to achieve clear visuals, even with medium settings.

Today, an update was released that also takes into account the desire for faster movement.

- Some users have asked for the ability to run in the game. However, we want to remind you that it is a "Relaxing Simulator." Therefore, we have found a compromise: you can now walk normally and walk a bit faster, but real running is not possible.

- Additionally, we have considered the request for snow. You now have the option to change the weather to snow, and the environment reacts accordingly. You can walk through the snow and leave tracks that will gradually be covered by falling snow.

- All weather options now have an impact on the environment. For example, trees move when it is windy, just as they do in rain or snow.

- Furthermore, a small bug in the weather settings menu has been fixed, where the current weather setting was not displayed when revisiting.


The demo has now also been updated accordingly!

I’d like to give you a little insight into what I’m currently working on.

There has been a request for snow, and I’m excited to let you know that I’m working on implementing it for you.

When the update is ready, you’ll have two additional weather settings: snow and blizzard.

Additionally, you’ll see various effects showing how the weather impacts the environment. Trees will adjust according to the weather, and the wind in the trees will also change.

The ground will change its appearance as well: it will become wet when it rains, and when it snows, you’ll notice the snow accumulating and gradually disappearing when it stops snowing. You’ll also leave footprints while walking, which will be covered by subsequent snowfall.

VR Support

Some have asked about VR support. I would like to offer VR but want to first see if the interest in VR is really significant. Currently, I lack the equipment to implement VR, as I have rarely dealt with VR in the course of my developments. However, I am willing to change that.

Curators & Streamers

I receive numerous requests for keys. I am always happy to provide keys for promotional support. Unfortunately, it often happens that developers receive many fake requests, making it increasingly difficult to distinguish whether it is the actual owner of the curator, YouTube, or Twitch channel. I often prefer to work with my own community, where I can ensure that it is the actual owners.

Achievements

I want to offer more achievements in the future. The biggest achievement in Relaxing Simulator is the 1000-hour achievement. That sounds like a lot, but it is meant to be a challenge. My goal is to foster long-term customer loyalty and give players an incentive to enjoy the game repeatedly. This also includes significant achievements.

It is important to me that the achievements in Relaxing Simulator provide a genuine sense of reward and are not just quickly and easily attainable. However, I will reconsider the achievements in terms of the number of hours and possibly reduce them.
