Sorry if I wasn't very clear, English is not my native language but you understood what I meant.
I can only shoot in 7 of the 8 directions the game allows you to shoot (considering a keyboard)

mmm, that's quite strange since it hasn't happened to me with any other game before. Didn't you try to try another keyboard or install the game on any netbook if you have one to see if it is a problem with the keyboard you are using right now?

Anyway, using controller is really easier because you can shoot 360º while using keyboard you can only shoot at 8 directions. But I could beat the whole game with keyboard so it's possible (not easy).
