I've been thinking about stairs, some kind of welder configuration, robotic arms, some kind of pendulum weight system, but nothing seems to get close to moving a block even one space up. Please tell me I'm not an idiot and this actually isn't possible without an exploit?...

This one really gave me some headache man. Especially since I did build a whole setup only to realize then the cockpit hasn't the correct shape. I'm in the last few puzzles. On control console, I have figured out how to assemble the console and load a few parts. but the timing is off. Normally, I would just remove a conveyor and let the blocks push each other when I run in to this problem. Or I would speed up the section that is too slow by using rotating blocks. However, on this puzzle, neither of those tricks are working. Just wondering if there are any other tricks people use to adjust timing....
