+1 In VR it could compete with Blade & Sorcery if physics shown on trailer will actually work.

+2 to VR mode!! This looks like Behemoth!
Absolutely agree !

And I think it already looks like a VR game, unless each of those where pre-rendered animations.

VR is perfect for this.

Wishlisted the game as well.
Better to spend that time in development to refine the game than to appease about 1.2k out of the hundreds of millions of steam members. VR failed, and it's pricepoint is the reason.

Maybe all devs should make now mobile games since in comparision with them regular gaming sales fail.

"people download apps on their phone that are free so we should ruin the 1 out of every 15,000 games that are good because 1.2k people might enjoy it just a bit more, at the cost of ruining the game being great for the over 300+million other people."

Know what we did to the last person who said let them eat cake?

So in your ignorance idea of implementing VR mode will be ruining the non existent game for 300+ milion people?

Massive amount of time into developing for an entirely different platform tends to decrease time dedicated to perfecting core mechanics and other features that could have been implemented had it not been for that 1.2k peoples failed gimmick.

More of a metaphorical sum rather than actual numbers, but if you look up the actual numbers they pretty much tell the same story. Thousands of VR owners. Hundreds of millions of steam users. While we're at it why don't we make custom modes for Lamborghini and Yacht owners.

So I will give you a real data: Steam users with headsets is 1.85% (2023) so from 132 million monthly active users (MAUs) it will be 2 442 000 VR headsets. Thank you, goodnight.

You really got me there. 1.85%. The kind of odds you want when going into surgery. Literally 1% of people own vr sets and they're crying for diminishing returns that would leave the other 99% out of a greater experience. To that I say, and I'll try to simplify this as best as I can: Yall trippin.

You where saying 1K users where in reality is around 2 milions. You think this game will be bought by all steam users? Now check how many players have racing wheel with haptics and go to racing game forums writing that support for this pheriferial will be damaging experience for people playing on keyboard or gamepads.

If the word gets out and it isn't silenced by the tsunami of trash on the store page, it'll get a fair share of buyers. No, not all of steam users, but even among that microcosm of a population the VR voice will still be roughly 1%. Implementing control support for a racing wheel is nothing compared to creating support for an entirely different perspective and vr controls. It requires making almost everything in the world to be interactive in a whole different way, meaning months, if not years of work. Deterring from the overall quality that the title would have released in had it not been for a non-existent elitest minority that does nothing but hinder the gaming industry. As can be seen by Half-Life Alyx. Millions of people waiting to carry on that series, only to get shafted by an inclusive spin off that no one asked for coupled with useless tech that costs more than a GPU.
