Oldie but still awsome

The good:

Honestly, there's only so bad you can make a game about Rome. The story is compelling, the characters are well voice-acted, and the game play is decent. There were a few moments in which you thought the game was over, but there was still more to do (which was a nice surprise). The music was great, and the cutscenes were believable.

The bad:

I have a top of the line PC and this game still frame-stuttered a fair amount. After reading online, this seems like a common issue on the PC/Steam version compared to console. The camera angles were sometimes janky, and performance was clearly not optimised for PC. The combat in certain sequences did get a bit repetitive as well.

Overall:
If you can overlook the poor optimisation for PC, and the slightly repetitive combat, I would recommend the game. It's short (you can easily complete it in under 6 hours if you're not achievement hunting), the story is entertaining, and it's about Rome so you can't really hate it (Unless you're a Boudica fan of course).
