doesnt work. i had been using outdated drivers , so after 6 hours of trying to get that to work before i tried this again, after someone said uninstalling my old drivers would work because i kept getting driver failed to install on nvidia. which just capped my screen resolution to 600 and i was getting 5 fps in roblox, effectively making my computer a decorative brick and had to just spam install for 6 hours until it decided to finally install. I still have the same issue, and tried all the typical fixes for all other games that normally work, where i can login, SOMETIMES. if im not greeted to a neverending blackscreen at the title page, it will crash when im at the part right past login where i choose my starter class. strange i only ever have these issues mainly with the free to play games.
I had the same issue with this other game, girls nexium or something like that, and i tried it on my steam deck and it worked without a problem. im not going to play an fps like this on controller only, so im not going to attempt, but it seems like an issue with windows somehow.
UPDATE: okay so i just kept spam trying it genuinely going back and forth from both EXE files in the local file browser and force closing over and over again when it freezes, and the other ".exe" file in the local files because for some reasons theirs two and the default exe launcher does NOT work. so i get in game finally, to the lobby and try to start a mission. doesnt let me join. have to manually look around and it says ANTI CHEAT DISABLED. WHAT?? okay?? so i click the thing on the thing, and it takes me to the website with simple instructions on how to manually install their anti cheat? why is that even a thing to manually do it after im already done with the entire download. anyways, click EVERY SINGLE FILE in the anti cheat thing, because the one they tell me doesnt work, just like the default launcher. All that happens is it instantly force closes once the installer pops up. tried running as admin all compatibility modes, i tried the INSTALL.BAT aswell instead of the EAC.exe file. get this trash off my computer
UPDATE 2:
So i just kept spamming the absolute hell out of the install BAT, and EAC exe files, and eventually, after probably 45 + alt tabs and spams, it decided to work. Now, the final straw of all of that surprisingly enough, is that i finally re-spam like above to get into game just to have the EAC work, and i have an infinite loading screen into my first match. Not a crash, not a freeze, an infinite loading screen.
FINAL UPDATE; i had diarrhea again from eating leftover tacos from TACO TUESDAY, and was on the toilet for AN ADDITIONAL 35 minutes from my previous 20 minute wait prior to going to the toilet, blowing water into the bowl. when i came back, i was to my surprise in game. i took 8 steps in game, a generous number at best, to which my game froze completely when i switched weapons during the tutorial, and crashed completely. It froze my computer to where i couldnt even task manager close it, and had to manually hold the power button on my computer and restart. It even rendered my mouse completely useless and i couldnt even click task manager, despite being able to bring up the home screen with CTRL ALT DELETE. replugging my mouse in didnt even fix it until the reboot

This game is absolutely amazing. The teamwork and battles will have you coming back for more!
