i was having an issue where the game would crash every few minutes, but found a solution so thought i'd share for anyone having the same issue go into properties > compatibility and force steam to use proton 4.11-13 hope this helps :)

I loved 999 but hated VLR? This isn't hyperbole; 999 is one of my absolute favorite adventure games, but VLR seemed hugely disappointing in every aspect- the writing, the puzzles, the character models, even the voice acting. I enjoyed ZTD until the last twist and yes, I'm a fan of Uchikoshi ever since Ever17.
