That is exactly what i'm doing right now.
If I would have listened to every review I've ever watched or read.. I would have missed out on tons of games that I love.

Providing you enjoyed stuff like ico/brothers/papo&yo, hard to go wrong imho.
The game is cheap, it's lovingly crafted and it's a unique experience. If you're interested, buy it, play it, form your own opinion about it.
- Optional levels are easy to miss yet harbor vital story points.
This is one of the cons. Facepalm
Still, that review wasn't very damning IMO. Game still looks interesting to me, and with its reasonable price I'm still considering it.
I think since this game isn't exactly a mainstream type of title you're going to get a bunch of polarizing opinions. So I wouldn't really read into what the big name sites have to say about a title like this. Give it a shot though, it's pretty good!
