Hello Hunters,

we have worked on an additional patch to address 2 further issues:

- Fixes 'first time sync' of save game data. If you played on the patch version from earlier today your save game data will be reset to the data on our servers.
- The new launcher version fixes launcher lockups on close game, however you need to reset your settings.

Hello Hunters,

A short while ago we mentioned that we were working on performance improvements for theHunter: Primal. Today I am happy to announce that we have released a patch that is going to permanently solve some of the issues players were reporting, such as disappearing inventory items and connection problems.

Here are the changes introduced in the patch:

- Implementation of local save with Steam cloud integration and removal of the server side saves.
- Save game data will be downloaded when the game is launched, meaning players will not lose equipment and/or items anymore.
- Offline support has been added to the game - an online connection will no longer be required to play theHunter: Primal, however, Steam will still need to be running in the background.
- The previous weight restriction has been removed from the inventory capacity.

If you should experience any issues when starting up the game the first time after the changes, please restart Steam as well as Primal and after that you should be able to play normally again. The same applies to spawning with an empty inventory.

Have we got great news for you? Sure we have! A new, long awaited Primal expansion – the Queen. Following this release (read the details in the patch notes), we’ll be taking a stab at bugs and we’re also eager to hear your feedback on the present and future of theHunter: Primal, so a player survey is coming your way really soon.

And now… the Queen!

[news.thehunter.com]Face off against the brutal Queen of Primal Eden. Hunt down rare dinosaurs to pick up equipment that will aid you and, in a final showdown, go up against the toughest prey you’ll ever encounter.
The reasoning behind this release is to give players an ultimate trophy to strive for, and the spoils to make it worthwhile. By killing a Primal T-Rex you’ll be rewarded with weapons and equipment courtesy of the good guys at the Expansive Galaxies Corporation. These items are exclusive to the Pioneers that manage to slay the Primal T-Rex and will not be found in any chests on Primal Eden. Once you manage to get a weapon or piece of equipment it will be unlocked for you in the store for future purchases.

How do you get a shot at these goodies then? Well, every Gold Level Achievement T-Rex will drop a scent gland. Once this gland is equipped and placed in an open field that normally harbours T-Rexes, the Queen will come stomping into the scene looking for a fight. Be sure to be prepared once she appears because this is the toughest creature you’ll ever have to deal with.
