Okay so I've hired people with relative decent skills + Upgraded the firms skill tree, yet when i try to monopolize or set them up to automatically buy up stocks in a good, they do nothing and another company comes through and buys up all the stock at that location... I know about the strategies to reduce the enemy shares, but the issue is the employee is not doing their job, right? or is there something i'm over looking?...

1. how do you start a family workforce? 2. is there a easier way of seeing what wares a location is selling in advance? 3. some of the promts ain't in english... 4. how do you get the passive income setup? lol prolly super obvious but i'm still having trouble grasping some of the concepts of the game because the tutorial stops shorts of explaining mid-to-late game objectives/events 5. is there pros and cons to winning favor with other factions? 6.
