So is this game just full of invasion save bricks and cheaters?
I want to get into this game with the online aspect but on a lot of these discussions I'm seeing people having to backup saves all the time. Is this even worth playing online?

My whole game was ruined. There is a solution though. Play offline or download blue acolyte mod. Be careful.

Who doesn't back up their saves all the time already, though, in every game where saves are local, even singleplayer ones?

It's like those email scams you get full of typos and errors. If you can identify those typos and errors, you are not their target.

No, it's generally fine, it's just the Blowjob Brothers up to shenanigans.
