We don't plan to support VR at release. This may change in the future.

Minecraft and No Man's Sky have VR support. I really want to see PSVR2 support. I'll buy the most expensive edition then

Unfortunately, Microsoft has made the absurd decision to drop VR support for Minecraft:

Why is Minecraft ending VR support?
-Interest in VR has decreased in recent years (So untrue)
-Microsoft, the owner of Mojang, has largely withdrawn from the VR/AR market.

What will happen after VR support ends?
-You can still play Minecraft in VR on PC using the Java version of the game and a VR mod like Vivecraft or QuestCraft.

I'm not sure why they made this decision, especially after their official partnership with Meta, even spawning an Xbox-themed Quest 3 headset. Microsoft needs to get it's :shit: together.

yes unfortunately. at the same time there was only support for the ps4 version for VR1. i don't know, maybe this is ps policy for the gamepad. since i don't know games except gt that would support the original gamepad, and not special ones for VR. i would like more games to support just the gamepad on ps5 VR2

Minecraft VR was brutal because of the elevation changes were so sudden and dramatic. If it was smoother it would be more manageable, but not everything should be VR just because it's possible.

Vivecraft/Questcraft (the Minecraft VR mod) is an amazing experience, I just wish it would be implemented officially and touched-up a little more.

The year is 2025, if something can be played in VR, then we should be able to if we want to.
