Steam Link launches in windowed mode only
Hi All,

Steam Link 1.3.6
Studio M2 Ultra - Sonoma 14.2.1 - LG 5K screen
MBP 16 M1 Max - Sonoma 14.2.1
Steam Deck OLED on the latest BETA

Steam Link would historically open fullscreen. I fired it up recently and it only opens in windowed 1200x800. I cannot launch in fullscreen and Steam Links settings like 1080p enhanced and 4k seem to make no difference. Remote play settings on deck like resolution limits set to 1440p also seem to make no difference.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue, windowed mode only. On another thread someone said that holding the escape key long enough allowed them to click the green button and go full-screen. Alas, that did not work for me. I can't make the cursor get out of the steam link window so I can't click the green button.

I just found a solution! Start the steam link app and the start another app that has a smaller window, like the Activity Monitor. Use cmd+tab (I think) to switch to the activity monitor.

Move the activity monitor window so the green "maximize" button of the Steam Link app is visible, then click it!
