Error on load from save:

Also I'm on windows 10 and this game is ultra super-super slow and I don't have an old machine. I have games with substantially better graphics than this play well.

Load from save fails:

I tried the load from save once under windows 10 and then tried setting the game compatibility mode to windows 7 restarting and making a new save - load still errors out.

Edited to add, I tried rebooting, running the game and loading the save. Same error. Only other thing running was Steam.
