Ah, so this is a bummer. Finally managed to beat Hard Mode after 20+ hours of playing and for some reason the game didn't recognize it was Hard Mode, despite the levels flooding me with countless enemies and the Boss double-firing. Didn't get the last achievements because of it agh.
