I don't understand what you are saying they actually do to stop other devs from making and releasing games. I know of about 4-5 that visit this forum that are active at making a game right now and have not heard of them getting any flak from groups to stop doing it either.
But if it ever comes up, thanks for the warning anyhow. I know I can always use Itch.io or other sources for releasing games if i cannot do so here.

Get someone at PR to handle stuff like this for you. It just gives you a bad image as a developer and publisher.
