In general some things are done OK, mainly ideologically. The concept of climatic zones on the planet is spot-on.
However, the graphics are terrible, I feel like I'd see Half-Life 1's Gordon Freeman in the next village, all 6 boxes of him.

The gathering of resources, the buildings, components, transforming of resources, it's all crap compared to other games of the genre.

The progression is so damn slow I just won't grind a year of my life to build a vessel that would leave the initial planet.

It's pity, really. You got some things better than No Man's Sky, but at least there I can reduce the difficulty and get things going much quicker so I don't waste my time as much.

It's crap! Waste of time.

TL;DR:
Try if free, don't pay for it even if heavily discounted. Had some good ideas, but utterly mediocre in the execution both visually and gameplay-wise. The gameplay itself feels like some open alpha title. Pretty much everything is either meh or straight up bad.

What I liked:
- Ships can be built similar to Space Engineers.
- Some lighting conditions, like dawn can look pretty good.
- You can move between planets like in No Man's Sky.
- There are factions that you can do missions for, like in other games.

What I didn't like:
- Game visuals are pretty outdated for something released in 2020, comparable to ones from 2015 or earlier, but some might consider it mediocre at best even if they played it 10 years ago.
- The UI is really bad both in functionality and visually. They put in some QoL, but if you can't afford to craft something, have fun figuring out what is missing by going through 4-5 levels of the crafting chain in a menu that has no search functionality.
- Very basic tech tree and crafting, you will find no creativity or complexity there. They tried to bloat it by having different components that are made from the exact same resources, used for the same recipes, just have a different icon and name, so it looks like you need 2 kinds of items instead of one.
- Same goes for resources. You won't find rare or exotic things that might unlock some cool alien technology. Nah, the most you get from an alien ore is a stronger wall for your spaceship.
- They put in a level system where you get XP for collecting stuff etc. What does this get you? It makes it possible to unlock tecnhologies. No increased character stats or anything.

Minecraft in space but better looking and with RPG elements. Don't skip the starter tutorial. It will answer almost all the questions you will ask players in servers. Reforged Eden 2 mod is a must and only way I play it now. Game Hack the F5 drone can get your death bag back without you taking damage!
