Escaping the Deathless ones. Can't reach the ledge.

Luckily I don't have the statue bug, but I'm stuck non the less. After you bring down the statue you hav to escape the deathless ones. But ones I jump of the bridge and grapple on that side beam it is completly impossible to reach the ledge. Thats means Lara dies and I have to try again. After trying 300 times I got really frustrated. I read a lot of suggestions that I should go back to an older save but the problem is that I don't have any older saves. I've overwritten them. Anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know a solution. I already checked my game files about 8 times and it doesn't help.
PC Specs:
Ryzen 2700x
GTX1080TI
Running latest drivers and updates.

Thx for you're comment but at point 14:44, Lara needs to wallclimb up and grab the ledge. She does the wallclimb thing after grappling but she simply doesn't grab the ledge.

you're hitting the 'climb' button/key twice?

Did you check the backup saves also?
all save games should have an auto backup on the Steam Cloud if you have it enabled.
--
otherwise there are save game file available but I'm sure they will have different progress.

I have downloaded a save file that was excactly at my point in the game. She still didn't grab the ledge. So now I have downloaded a save file that brings me past that jump! and it works. I kinda cheated my way past it. But atleast I dont have to make that stupid jump now!

Watching your video...she's not grabbing because there's no 2nd jump.
I was gonna ask you to upload your save game...then I would get you past it then re upload it
back for you....
that way you would keep all the upgrades you already
that's the only problem with using someone else's saves...we all play differently so we upgrade differently/finding docs/relics,etc.

Oh if it happens again...try running it in DX11 to see if that works
I don't use DX12(Win 8 here) but I see some people posting about 'glitches' in DX12.
Sorry I should have suggested that before you used another's save...
or if you still have your 'original' save give that a shot.

I still have my original save game, but i don't mind this either. I could upload my save file, how and where can I upload it?

I use MEGA.NZ for my on-line storage...they give you 50gig of space FREE
you'll have to register and make a free account in order to use it.

I would get in the habit of making save games every once in awhile...
you can always delete them as you progress.

Had the same problem, was no bug. Just need to time it right (wall jump), got it right after 200 tries.

This is so late but for people who ever play game in the future, (on pc) just hit E twice. Swing once and then use the grapple again and climb the rope. Quick and easy solution.

Well I'm not sure if it's that. I'm about 12 hours in the game and already fluid with the mechanics, the timing, QTE and stuff, you can barely do it wrong. If you hit a wall with a white paint, you normaly do a jump and Lara leaps a bit highter. I never mis-jumped once or missed a mechanic. But this just seems broken?

Oh, I guess I now figured it out, so I'll gladly share it. You have to use the axe rope twice. Swing with it normally, jump off and hit the ledge of the wall with it. Now Lara climbs on the rope to the ledge.
That's probably just horrible level design - because the white paint on the wall tells the player to hit the wall and do her double-jumpy thingy off the wall, which leads to her falling/dying.
I just made it on the first try. Thanks for the input guys!
