ejecting people or shooting people always results in half the galaxy knowing about it, even with no witnesses around, bug? if not, what causes it?

This game is certainly unique I'd love a sequel cheers

I just bought the game today, after the new patch. After 1 day of play the game has crashed 4 times -- and I have a brand new computer!

I start the game. get the loading screen then a blank one with music playing, I click on the screen and the game crashes. It did say some thing about a file missing the first time it happened but steam validation says it's a 100% Any ideas.
