Lost Save Games

A lot of you have lot their progress with the recent patches and I really have no excuse for that. It wasn't something that I could anticipate sadly and I am deeply sorry.

I have enabled cloud saving and a few more backup measures for saving and hopefully this will not happen again. However, I urge you to make a back-up by copying the save string in a notepad yourselves over the next couple of days while everything is being tested. Again, I stress that the next few days there will be testing of the stability of the cloud system save.

I know a lot of you are very bothered by this and you have all the right to be. While I can't get your saves back, I can grant those who really want it a number of Influence points to help them get back to where they were a little faster. Please let me know if you want this or not.

Also, as a symbolic token of apology, a new achievement: Trials and Tribulations has been added both to Steam and in-game that grants 5% production and +2 birth rates and features a bloodied trophy in honor of your lost villagers :) (this achievement is automatically granted)

No worries the game is still early access these things are bound to happen, wow on new achievement that will come in nice :)

The new achievement didn't unlock for me, I did get the Forefather achievement when I tried to start a new game though LOL

Keep working at it, Im sure you will get it soon. It can't be easy when everybody is shouting the game is broken and you don't even know the problem yet. Good luck

Played since the release. Understand that there are difficulties, on the other hand it's nice that the game works. Is it possible for me to restore my progress to add 300 points of development and 3 fragment?

can i have enough influence points just to get back to the point where i have an army like 200 men strong?

p.s- i have not gotten that achievement

i have now lost my save game :/ Was on my 4 Colony with 200-300 influce points around

I didn't lose my save, but key words: 'Early Access'. However, even Codemasters isn't immune to something like this, and they've have 5 years + to sort their ♥♥♥♥ out!

i have no problem when he gives me back my influence points^^ it was a work of 20 hours. EA or not :/

I thought I had clicked on the hard reset button or something. Also on that note, can we hide and/or make it harder to hard reset using that button? I fear clicking that and accepting blindly
