The good thing about the Girlfriend mod is that it's a mod for Factorio. Create for those who seem to need it. The bad thing is it's not a mod for your girlfriend, which you shouldn't need unless you picked the wrong girlfriend.

Usually installing a diamond.ring via marry() function mods a girlfriend heavily. But beware, user reviews are mixed.

There are mod conflicts with this that will eliminate access to all other girlfriends. It can eliminate, or vastly reduce, buddy functions like weekend sports tailgates, fishing trips, hunting trips, pub crawls, etc. It can result in the in-law error code which can be extremely difficult to recover your files from. You also have to quadruple your power output $$$$ and it can cause BSoD (Blue Screen of Divorce) if you select an incompatible girlfriend to mod. This can completely and permanently burn out your power supply.

Hmm... seems troubling, and probably not worth the hassle. Thanks for the support! Mind sending me some git links to the repositories to these issues? Maybe it's possible with some clever communication to correct or avoid (or even patch) these erroneous issues.
