Icons Not Installed... Desktop or Start Menu
I have installed, reinstalled, verified files. The icons won't show up and I have to open steam to start Aseprite. This is quite the bummer. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know about the Start Menu, but for Desktop, I recommend right clicking Aseprite, going to Manage > Add Desktop Shortcut. You can do this with any thing you have installed via Steam.
Maybe the Desktop and Start Menu icons were toggled off when installing them? Generally it asks if you want to get both of those.

Question: Have you tried going to your install folder and tried to create a shortcut from there? It is RRM free, so you can bypass Steam entirely. (i have done that on my work pc)

I mean the files are on your computer somewhere... you have to find its source folder and create a shortcut for the exe. If you weirdly can't just do it through steam
