I freaking loved the bat

This was my first game from Rusty Lake and my entry into the Rusty Lake rabbit hole. I can't think of another series of games in which a complex, dark family story is told over a long period of time, from different perspectives and with different approaches. Each game in the series is full of surreal ideas, details, bizarre humor and complex puzzles. There is so much to discover in every game and each game adds some parts to the lore. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. So go and check in yourself.

A solid Rusty Lake game, slightly on the shorter side (to be fair it is about half the price of Roots or Paradise). The puzzles are fun as usual, on the easier side as well, but it left me slightly unsatisfied with the length. But again, it is cheap, can't complain about that, but I would've paid more for a longer game. If you want a game that wraps up in an hour or so, with fun puzzles, that doesn't have a plot focus, this would be a good fit.
