*World of Tanks Blitz* now stands at a critical juncture of life and death. Looking back, the removal of the tech tree in Version 5.5 seven years ago was already a challenge to players’ bottom line, yet the community voiced only mild dissatisfaction. But in 2023, over the past year, Wargaming (WG) has crossed the line yet again with unacceptable actions, including but not limited to:
- **Converting premium tanks to "collector vehicles"** (Explaining to new players: Premium tanks are guaranteed to remain unmodified, but "collector vehicles" grant WG the right to nerf them—a blatant violation of player ownership).
- **Unjustified nerfs to specific tanks**, fostering a toxic gameplay environment and skyrocketing frustration.

**Why do we still cling to this game?** Our **faith** in what it once stood for. But now, Version 11.7 has surpassed even Version 5.5 as the *worst update in history*. WOTB has been reduced to a **child-oriented game**—its gritty, realistic art style gutted. **What remains of the spirit we fought to preserve?**

Just two years ago, when War Thunder’s lead developer Bvvd pushed relentless weekly changes, the global player base united under the banner of resistance. **We won.** Players triumphed by standing firm.

**But today?** WG’s developers have openly dismissed concerns with statements like *“Play it or quit,”* while continuing to sabotage the game. If we do nothing, the legacy we’ve built over a decade will crumble. **Comrades!** Whether you’ve loved this game, hated it, or endured its rage-inducing flaws, we must **fight**—to defend the last shreds of its soul and stop WG from destroying a masterpiece.

If the game’s core were truly beyond saving, we might accept defeat. But WG’s actions are deliberately steering this iconic IP toward ruin. From its meticulously crafted models to its immersive sound design, WOTB remains the pinnacle of tank combat games. It *should* thrive as a global hit, yet it’s being driven into the ground. **If Version 11.7 proceeds as planned**, we will witness:
- Mass player exodus.
- Review bombs and backlash.
- A **"May Storm" movement** akin to War Thunder’s 2023 uprising.

**We must act now.** Learn from War Thunder’s victory:
1. **Flood platforms with negative reviews.**
2. **Protest relentlessly on official forums.**
3. **STOP SPENDING.** Cut off WG’s revenue to force compromise.

**Will we let a decade of passion, camaraderie, and glory vanish?** Whether you’re a veteran crowned in battle honors or a casual player, will you stand idle as everything you’ve fought for is erased? **If not, join us.**

The company’s proposed update is going to be the nail in the coffin for the game.
Having been playing the game for 10 years and more, it has mostly been fun despite the increase in gambling/ crates. For me it is absolutely understandable for a company to generate revenue from micro transactions, but the future update just shows how desperate the company is trying to squeeze money by ruining the game, while neglecting all the effort and resources that players have put in all the time. Starting off the game when everything’s mostly historic, tech trees where you learn and have the genuine feeling of upgrading the tank you’re having, to the proposed update of some random weird cartoonish commanders and horrible UI/graphics, it’s obviously just an excuse to wipe away the effort players have put in and use it as another channel for micro transactions. There’s probably no great substitute for a tank game like this, but quitting playing a game that only cares about money and not respect the progress you’ve put in is definitely the way.

RIP to what used to be a great game

Sad state, once reforge rolls in I'll probably leave altogether. Graphic changes and new physics are welcomed. Other than that, no significant changes should be made.

I have quit this game many times and each time I come back hoping it's changed for the better, I get hit with a disappointment
