WD2 is colorful, has attitude, you have a gang and an official hideout. You don't feel alone, it's not constantly raining and cars don't drive like a boat.
I got the Gold Edition and never regretted it. Had a grear time with this game, had a great time with WD1 BUT the best game is WD3: Legion. Legion is far more dark abd realistic than WD1, you can play the full game as Aiden Pierce or Wrench. There's just alot you can do in Legion that makes it replayable and it's plot is far more mature than WD1.
